  2. The Trunk Box An Original Idea By: The Data Dragon & The Supplier

  4. Chapter one "What's a trunk Box?"
  5.  
  6. A trunk Box is simply a control box for your neiborhood used by the fone
  7. company. It contains a set of wires for every number in the area..The
  8. lineman for the local fone company uses his linemans handset to test lines
  9. for trouble, etc, from THIS BOX...This box is about 5 feet tall, 3 1/2 ft
  10. wide, and is up a telephone pole, sometimes with a platform to stand on
  11. beneath it...There are smaller boxes that are higher up, and without
  12. platforms that can be used for the same purpose, but the number of numbers
  13. in those boxes is much less, 10-20, and therefore, a higher chance of you
  14. getting caught.

  18. Chapter two "How do I find a Trunk Box?"

  20. Finding the trunkbox is one of the harder parts of this.. We just happened
  21. to stumble across ours one day about 3 AM while trashing a Yard. They are the
  22. Big, silver rectangles on telphone poles, usually on a road of some type,
  23. and usually pretty public. Therefore, when doing anything but looking for the
  24. box, do it at * NIGHT *, when it is * DARK * and no one can * SEE * you,
  25. because people are curious..Ok..Hop in your Porshe or Ferrarri (any car will
  26. do, no matter HOW cheap) and go for a ride around your neiborhood. take a
  27. friend and have him look up every telephone pole for the BIG boxes ( also
  28. rember where the small boxes are, they will also work if they have to ). Now,
  29. just find one, It should be relativly close to your house, not on the other
  30. side of town.

  34. Chapter Three "Ok, What Now?"

  36. Ok...You have gotten this far, and you know where that box is. Well, now
  37. comes the fun part. Scanning millions of numbers trying to find who's what.
  38. Go to K-Mart and buy a CHEAP fone, some wire, and 4 alligator clips.. now,
  39. Build a beige box and attach the fone fo the box. Get a flathead
  40. screwdriver, a wire cutter/stripper tool, and a Knife or pistol {Defense}. A
  41. flashlight is also nice. put the fone W/ beige box in a dark duffle bag along
  42. with everything else above mentioned. Now take the wire and cut two long
  43. pieces. strip the ends and put an alligator clip on each end. We'll just call
  44. these things "Alligator Wires" for the time being.  Now, for the Raid.

  48. Chapter Four "The  Assault"

  55.   Now that you are good and scared, * WALK * to the box. Yeah, I said WALK
  56. and I ment it. No bicycles because we came very close to getting caught
  57. because we were on bikes at three AM wearing Dark clothing. We were in the
  58. bush stashing some shit, and our bikes were near the road when the Police car
  59. came By...He stopped, looked around and left. It would have been fine, but he
  60. saw 2 bicycles near the road.  ANYWAY, when you get to the box, climb the
  61. pole, carring the bag with you. Now open the box, It should not be locked. If
  62. it is, I hope you brought the C-4 to blow it up, or a lock pick to pick it.
  63. ok, now you're in. you should see billions of screws, about 3/4 with wires
  64. going to them. Ok, get out your Beige box and fone and take the red alligator
  65. clip and attach it to the screw on the right, and the Green to the screw on
  66. the left of one of the screws connected to wires. Dial ANI. Do you here what
  67. the lady on the other end is saying to you?..Its a number, Is it yours?..if
  68. its not, Fuck it...now comes the fun part...(This May take SEVERAL nights)
  69. You now have to wire your beige box into EVERY connected wire and screw and
  70. Dial ANI..If you have 2 people, Its twice as fast. The object is to find your
  71. number. after you do that, the fun begins..but for now, Go home, and get some
  72. sleep, you're probably pretty tired by now, and you will need to be thinking
  73. rationally for the rest of the work, so you won't do something stupid,
  74. dangerous, etc.

  77. Chapter five "Wiring in"

  79.   Ok, wake up...It should be about noon..Blow the rest of the day, and wait
  80. till about 2 or 3 in the morning.. go back to your box, and open it. Find
  81. your posts and wires, and disconnct them. now find someone else's post and
  82. wires, and disconect them by unscrewing the screws with the screwdriver. Now,
  83. Take your Alligator wires that you made earlier and take the wire that was on
  84. the right and attach an alligator clip.  Put the other clip from that wire
  85. and attach it to the right screw on the other persons post. Do the same thing
  86. with the wire that was on the left, attaching it to the left screw. Now take
  87. the other persons wires and twist them together. This will take their fone of
  88. the hook, and they will think something is wrong with their fone
  89. somewhere..Close the box and go home..When you get home, Dial ANI and you
  90. should here the other persons fone number..Now you can fearlessly Phreak, and
  91. if you get traced, the other person gets blamed...Now,  make your calls for
  92. the night and go back to the box..fix everything back to normal. Whenever you
  93. wanna phreak with no danger, do this, and you wont get caught, just remeber
  94. to fix everything back to normal when you leave.
